Eisenhorn (A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus) Dan Abnett
Publisher:

The Desolation of Smaug, hands down. I really enjoyed that 2011 by Jolo M. It follows the adventures of Imperial Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn and his associates over the span of several centuries. What movie are you most looking forward to this year? Ravenor is an omnibus collection of the three books in the “Ravenor” sequence: Ravenor, Ravenor Returned and Ravenor Rogue, set in the Warhammer 40k universe. This is an omnibus, written small, and contains a complete series. My first foray into the world of Inquisitors was the Eisenhorn omnibus by Dan Abnett, which collects the novels in the titular trilogy plus two interconnecting short stories. The great majority of this supposed quality comes from a particular writer who consolidated as the main pillar of the whole Black Library, and so of the Warhammer 40k universe in literary form: Dan Abnett. Prospero Burns is a work of fan fiction based upon the Warhammer 40,000 gaming universe. The fantasy game Warhammer 40000 (aka Warhammer 40K) has spawned some excellent tie-in fiction that will appeal to crime fiction fans. I first came across the Warhammer 40K universe when I played the RTS, Dawn of War: The Dark Crusade. Despite being fragmented, the 'Warhammer 40000'–based novel 'Prospero Burns' takes the Space Wolves to a new high. Into the 40k universe since the mid 90′s) and i love abnett's writing, i do recommend starting with his work for anyone looking to take a step into the 40k universe. So you're getting a review for the whole kit and caboodle. It is a fairly extensive online reference for all things Warhammer- Fantasy and 40K- and will help you translate some of the craziness. Now, I read these books in the omnibus version (pictured above) which consisted of the novel Xenos, Malleus, and Hereticus, as well as the short stories Missing in Action and Backcloth for a Crown Additional. Eisenhorn by Dan Abnett, a Warhammer 40,000 omnibus and part 1 of the Inquisitor trilogy of trilogies. My recomendations would be the eisenhorn omnibus, or the gaunt's ghosts series. It tells the Quality-wise this is compared to Eisenhorn, the first series is still considered the better one but the quality is supposed to be similar and if someone liked the first he should like this too.
